JC Culture, a 5-year-old Animation Studio in Singapore with extended operations in Germany and Shanghai, has a signed contract to co-produce a Jeff Bridges movie.
JC Culture seeks USD150k for distribution rights in Asia. The full length movie is slated for completion by March 2011. This is expected to be the first of several movies from Hollywood in the works.
The technique used in the movie will be a combination of 3D, 2D graphics and live action footage, often the domain of larger post production houses. In the execution of this movie, an innovation will be born, where all 3 animated elements will be assembled online in realtime over a collaboration platform. This allows the US director and producer to make creative adjustments before the scenes are rendered final.
